Webinar on hospital management amid Covid-19 held by Taiwan doctors

E-DA Hospital has organised a webinar for the purpose of providing real-time knowledge about hospital management in the time of Covid-19 for doctors in Bangladesh through a webinar on Thursday.

They took this initiative in collaboration with Aspire to Innovate (a2i), ICT Division and Bloodman.

According to a press release, Dr Chun-Kai Huang, and Tara TW Chen from E-DA Hospital presented the Webinar.

Forty frontline doctors and public officers participated in the program.

The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), Taiwan Nobel Medical Group, Asia Innovation, Development and Entrepreneurship Association (AIDEA), and Taiwan Medical Industries South and Westbound Alliance Association (TMISWAA) also joined the webinar.

Forhad Zahid Shaikh, chief e-governance strategist and focal point of digital service accelerator of a2i, ICT Division said in a presentation, "We can expand the initiatives we have taken by utilising the Bangladeshi doctors."

"In the future, various initiatives can be implemented jointly with the government of Bangladesh and the doctors of BSMMU," he further added.

Md Sahariar Hasan Jiisun, founder of Bloodman moderated the sessions. 

He said, "I am looking forward to further collaborative efforts between Taiwan and Bangladesh."

Professor Sayedur Rahman, chairman of Department of Pharmacology in BSMMU, Said, "In this crisis situation of Covid-19, BSMMU is implementing various type of programs through BSMMU-a2i Specialized Tele Health Center."

From the perspective of medical promotion of international public welfare, TAITRA, E-DA Hospital, Taiwan Nobel Medical Group, AIDEA, TMISWAA, a2i, ICT Division, and Bloodman look forward to the continuous promotion of Taiwan's medical care and care to the world through this cooperation, the press release read.
