13 killed as truck overturns in Gaibandha

At least 13 people were killed as a truck overturned in Gaibandha's Palashbaria area.
The accident took place in Jundah area of Dhaka-Rangpur highway in the district on Thursday morning.
Gobindaganj Highway Police Officer in Charge Abdul Quader confirmed the matter saying, "The Rangpur-bound truck full of iron rods overturned in the Jundah area of Palashbari in the morning. At that time, 13 people including three children who were on the truck, were crushed under the rod and died on the spot."
