Thailand polluted by old mobile phones from Europe and America
According to environmental group Earth Thailand, the flow of e-waste into Thailand has increased 20-fold in the past decade. Before the Chinese ban, the flow into the country was about 3,000 tons a year, but now it has reached 60,000 tons. Most of it comes from the United States and the European Union.
