Indian High Commissioner visit Bangladesh Police Academy

Indian High Commissioner Riva Ganguly Das visited Bangladesh Police Academy (BPA) at Sardah area of Rajshahi on Monday.
The HC visited Bangladesh-India Friendship building at the academy. The building, which houses the Cyber-crime and IT-training facilities, was funded by Indian Government and inaugurated by the then home ministers of both the countries in July 2018.
Riva Ganguly Das was given a guard of honour. Later, a presentation had been displayed about the academy. Earlier, she was received by Md Nazibur Rahman, additional inspector general of Bangladesh police and principal of BPA.
Riva later addressed the trainees of BPA calling them as future custodians of law and order in Bangladesh and inspired them to serve the community in a professional manner without losing human connection.
The HC was accompanied by Sanjeev Kumar Bhati, assistant high commissioner of India in Rajshahi and Vishal Jyoti Das, second secretary (Visa & Consular section) of Indian High Commission in Dhaka.
