Amla set to join Khulna

South African batsman Hashim Amla will join the Khulna Tigers in the ongoing Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) T20 2019. This will be Amla's first venture in the BPL.

The news of Amla joining Khulna was confirmed by Khulna's technical director Khaled Mahmud Sujon.

Along with Amla, Khulna have also brought in Pakistani fast-bowling allrounder Aamer Yamin. Mr Mahmud informed that Yamin will join the side today whereas Amla will be joining the Khulna Tigers on Tuesday. He also informed that both the players will be with the team for the whole tournament.

Khulna are third on the points table of BPL with five wins and two defeats from their seven games and are looking to seal a playoff spot as soon as possible.
