IPDC competition portrays pre-independence era through calligraphy
Three renowned artists of the country asked calligraphy enthusiasts across the country to recreate 50 exclusive historical lines of slogans and songs that lit the heart of protesters and freedom fighters
IPDC Finance Limited organised a calligraphy competition named 'Barnashilpi' to remember the turbulent period between 1952 to 1971.
On 21 February, when the country was reminiscing the language fighters, IPDC took the opportunity to bring out the beauty of the language in its most artistic form— calligraphy, the institution said in a press statement on Tuesday.

In response to this call, participants submitted hundreds of works. Among them, best 50 works of art have been selected based on the judgment of the judiciary made up of the best calligraphist in the country and votes given on Facebook.
