IPDC announces applications for finternship summer 2026
IPDC Finance PLC has launched its flagship internship programme, Finternship Summer 2026, positioning itself as a leading incubator for young talent in the financial sector.
The programme is open to fresh graduates and final-year students seeking careers in finance. Applications are open until 2 May 2026.
Centred on the theme 'Learn – Lead – Excel', Finternship is designed as a comprehensive career development platform for emerging professionals.
The initiative aims to provide hands-on industry experience, practical learning, and opportunities for leadership development.
Positioned as a gateway to the finance industry, the programme bridges the gap between academic knowledge and corporate experience.
Selected interns will gain exposure to core business functions, including retail and consumer finance, SME and corporate business, risk and compliance, customer experience, sales and relationship management, business analytics, and digital financial solutions.
Interns will work alongside experienced professionals, developing a well-rounded understanding of a modern financial institution.
According to IPDC, the experience is expected to strengthen participants' analytical skills, communication, teamwork, customer focus, and financial knowledge.
Rizwan Dawood Shams, Managing Director of IPDC Finance PLC, commented: 'In today's competitive job market, relevant work experience is crucial. IPDC's innovative Finternship programme will not only ease young people's transition into the workforce but also enhance their future employability. Our management trainee programme, "The Unbounders", has established a strong track record in developing future leaders, and we believe Finternship will continue that momentum.'
