Jamuna Bank Foundation organises free eye camp in Munshiganj

Jamuna Bank Foundation, in collaboration with Al-Haj Nur Mohammed Trust recently organised and funded a free eye camp at Goalghunni in Munshiganj.

Through this eye camp a total number of 2,480 eye patients have been given treatment and among them 432 patients have been selected for eye operation.

Nur Mohammed, former MP, founder of Al-Haj Nur Mohammed Trust and chairman of Jamuna Bank Foundation inaugurated the free eye camp as the chief guest, reads a press release on Sunday.

The programme was presided over by Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed, managing director and CEO of the Foundation, it added. 

Md Abdus Salam, deputy managing director of Jamuna Bank was also present on the occasion.

Senior officials of the banks head office, manager of the adjacent branches, dignitaries and a huge number of people of the locality were present in the program.

At the end of the programme, free rickshaw van and auto-rickshaw were distributed among the helpless and poor people.
