Mamdudur Rashid new MD and CEO of NCC Bank

Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid has joined NCC Bank as its new Managing Director and CEO on Monday. 

Prior to joining NCCBL, Rashid was serving United Commercial Bank Limited as additional managing director (business), said a press release. 

He was also an independent director and chairman of the board's audit committee of IPDC Finance Limited.

He is a seasoned professional with 31 years of experience in the fields of finance and banking in Bangladesh, India, Australia and New Zealand.
 
Rashid also worked as group CFO of BRAC and BRAC International, prior to which he worked as the additional managing director (wholesale banking/SME businesses and treasury) of BRAC Bank Limited. 

Earlier, he was the planning head for Citibank-Australia and New Zealand for its corporate and institutional banking business. He also served as director of BRAC EPL Stock Brokerage Limited, UCB Capital Management Limited and UCB Investment Ltd.

Educated and trained internationally, Rashid earned his MBA (Finance) from IBA of Dhaka University (DU) and MA in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis University, USA. He is also a FCPA (Australia).
