Cadet colleges record 100% pass rate, 98.22% GPA-5 rate in SSC 2026

Bangladesh's 12 cadet colleges achieved a 100% pass rate in this year's SSC examinations, with 607 of the 618 candidates securing GPA-5, giving the institutions a GPA-5 rate of 98.22%.
Cadet colleges are residential educational institutions under the Ministry of Defence, operating under the direct supervision of the Adjutant General of the Bangladesh Army, who also serves as chairman of the Cadet College Governing Council.
Beyond academic excellence, the institutions aim to develop cadets into capable and responsible citizens, with equal emphasis placed on character building and co-curricular activities alongside academic studies.
The colleges regularly introduce education and co-curricular programmes suited to the changing times to help cadets adapt to the modern world and attain respectable positions in their future careers.
