Tourism Board names 16 recipients for Tourism Awards 2026
The awards ceremony will take place on 3 October at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre.
The Bangladesh Tourism Board has selected 16 individuals, organisations and tourism initiatives for the Bangladesh Tourism Award 2026 in recognition of their contributions to sustainable tourism, hospitality, innovation and tourism entrepreneurship.
According to a notice issued by the Tourism Board yesterday (1 October), the recipients were selected from nominations across various categories following scrutiny by a jury board comprising representatives from the government and private sector.
The awards ceremony will be held at 2:30pm tomorrow (3 October) at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre in Dhaka as part of the celebrations marking World Tourism Day 2026.
The Tourism Board said the awards recognise contributions to tourism development in areas including service quality, innovation, digital promotion, community participation, entrepreneurship, and the conservation of natural and cultural heritage.

Best Domestic Tour Operator: ShareTrip Ltd
Best Amusement Park: Fantasy Kingdom Complex
Best Young Tourism Entrepreneur: Bangladesh Eco Adventures
Best Homestay: Charubala Homestay and Tours
Best Tourism Content Creator: Abu Mohammad Salahuddin (Suman)
Best Tourism Technology Initiative: BD Tickets
Best Women Tourism Entrepreneur: Nurani Sharmin Afroz
Best Tourist Vessel: M V Mallick
Best Tour Guide: Md Sarowar Jahan (Mithu)
Best MICE Initiative: Seven International Limited

The board congratulated the recipients and invited them to attend the award ceremony and World Tourism Day celebrations on 3 October.
