Janata Bank groups organise prayers to honour Ziaur Rahman

Janata Bank PLC held a discussion and doa mahfil at its head office on Wednesday to mark the 45th death anniversary of late president Ziaur Rahman.

The programme was jointly organised by Janata Bank Jatiotabadi Karmachari Union, Zia Parishad-Janata Bank Central Committee, Jatiotabadi Bankers Association Bangladesh-Janata Bank Central Committee and Janata Bank Jatiotabadi Officer Kalyan Samity Central Committee.

Janata Bank PLC Board Chairman Muh Fozlur Rahman, Managing Director Md Mojibor Rahman, Deputy Managing Director Kazi Abdur Rahman, Jatiotabadi Karmachari Union President Md Rafiqul Islam, Zia Parishad Convener Monirul Islam, Jatiotabadi Bankers Association President Shah Jahan and Jatiotabadi Officer Kalyan Samity President Saiful Abedin Selim spoke at the discussion, among others.

The event was moderated by Jatiotabadi Bankers Association General Secretary Md Ruhul Amin.

A special prayer was offered after the discussion, seeking eternal peace for the departed soul of late president Ziaur Rahman.

Executives, officials and employees of the bank's head office were present at the programme.
