Govt mulls to bring all English medium schools under unified policy framework
The government aims to build an education system that fosters academic excellence, critical thinking, innovation, and leadership while ensuring equal opportunities for students across Bangla-medium, English Version, and English-medium institutions.
The government has moved to bring all English-medium schools under a unified regulatory framework to improve education quality, ensure accountability, strengthen student safety, and protect national interests.
"As part of this initiative, all English medium educational institutions across the country will be brought under a common regulatory framework," State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Bobby Hajjaj said during a visit to the Aga Khan Academy Dhaka today (3 June).
The government aims to build an education system that fosters academic excellence, critical thinking, innovation, and leadership while ensuring equal opportunities for students across Bangla-medium, English Version, and English-medium institutions.
During the visit, the minister toured a students' exhibition organised by the academy, where he reviewed research projects, innovative initiatives, and creative presentations by students.
He praised the institution's modern teaching methods, student-centred learning approach, and leadership development programmes.
He also called for the expansion of research, innovation, and creative educational practices to other educational institutions across the country.
