Drug peddler held with arms in possession
Salauddin is accused in four cases
Police arrested a drug peddler during a drive in Bagbari area in Narayanganj on Saturday.
The arrested person is Salauddin Salu of Madanganj. Salauddin is accused in four cases, involving drug trafficking and terrorism, said a press release.
Inspector Shazzad Roman said, police had arrested Salauddin from his mother-in-laws house in Nabiganj. During the raid, Salauddin's relatives attacked the police, as they tried to take Salauddin away; a gunfight ensued between the Police and the relatives of Salauddin that left four people injured. Latter the police brought the situation under control.

The injured are: Sub-Inspectors Mizan and Mahfuz, Constable Nadim, and a passerby.
