One killed, 15 injured in Sitakunda clash over territorial control

One person was killed and at least 15 others were injured in a clash between two groups over establishing dominance in the Jungle Salimpur area of Sitakunda upazila in Chattogram.

The incident took place yesterday (3 October) night in the Alinagar area.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be confirmed. Sitakunda Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mujibur Rahman said, "The seriously injured have been taken to Chattogram Medical College Hospital for treatment. Legal action will be taken once a complaint is filed by the victims."
