What is behind the rising tension on the Pakistan-Afghan border?
The Pakistan army has carried out a raid on two bases of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) group near the Afghan border. During this, the army and the TTP group exchanged heavy fire, according to the Qatar-based news outlet Al Jazeera. A total of 47 people from both sides were killed in the clash. Of them, 35 were militants and 12 were Pakistani soldiers.
