Reasons why the US canceled the visas of thousands of international students
The U.S. State Department has revoked the visas of more than 6,000 international students for violating U.S. law, overstaying their visas, and engaging in various criminal activities. The State Department said the "majority" of the reasons for the visa revocations were assault, driving under the influence (DUI), theft, and "support for terrorism."
