Registration opens for National Quiz Championship 2.0

The National Quiz Championship 2.0 is set to return this July with renewed energy, offering a prestigious platform for students and knowledge enthusiasts from across Bangladesh to compete, collaborate, and showcase their intellectual abilities. Organised to promote critical thinking, quick decision-making, and teamwork, this year's edition promises an engaging and challenging experience for all participants.

The competition will feature a team-based quiz event with two categories. The junior category is open to students from Classes VIII to XII and HSC Batch 2025, while the senior category is designed for undergraduate university students. Each team, consisting of two to three members, will first participate in a written preliminary round. The top six teams from each category will then qualify for an on-stage buzzer round, where accuracy and speed will determine the winners. The event will take place on July 11 and 12, 2025, and the registration fee is set at BDT 200 per team. The flagship segment of the championship, the MEGA Quiz, is an open-format competition welcoming five-member teams from any educational or professional background. This round is designed to push participants to their intellectual limits in a fast-paced, collaborative setting without any institutional restrictions. The MEGA Quiz will be held on July 12, 2025, with a registration fee of BDT 300 per team. In addition to the main events, the championship will host four specialised quiz segments that allow participants to demonstrate their subject-specific knowledge. These include the Pop Culture Quiz, which explores viral trends and cultural movements; the Sports Quiz, which covers both local and global sporting history; the Literature Quiz, focused on significant authors and works; and the Bangladesh History Quiz, a tribute to the country's journey and achievements. Teams may register for one to four segments. The event is scheduled for July 11, 2025.
