Chief Adviser of the interim government Muhammad Yunus offered his Eid-ul-Adha prayers at the National Eidgah this morning (7 June), joining thousands of Muslims from all walks of life.
Following the congregation, he addressed the attendees and said, "It was wonderful to see everyone come together at the Eid jamaat today. Eid Mubarak to all. On this sacred day, I ask everyone to pray for the welfare of the country."
Top officials of the interim government, including advisers Fouzul Kabir Khan, Wahiduddin Mahmud, and Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan, joined the main Eid jamaat alongside diplomats, justices, senior government officials, politicians, and representatives from various Muslim-majority countries.
The main Eid congregation at the National Eidgah was held amid tight security and a peaceful environment.
