D-gest presents Rotnodharini – A special mother’s day tribute to gynecologist mothers

To commemorate Mother's Day, a unique and heartfelt event titled D-gest Presents Rotnodharini was held in honour of the country's gynaecologist mothers. Organised under the patronage of Acme's Gynocare and managed by The ACME Laboratories Ltd, the event celebrated the tireless contributions of women who balance their roles as both healthcare providers and mothers.

The vibrant programme took place today, Sunday, 18 May 2025, at the Samson H. Chowdhury Centre of the prestigious Dhaka Club in the capital.

The event was presided over by Professor Dr Farhana Dewan, Honourable President of OGSB (Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Bangladesh). Professor Dr Halida Hanum Akhter, internationally renowned public health expert and Honourable Member of the Commission on the Reform of Women's Affairs, attended as the chief guest.
