Miley Cyrus drops End of the World

Miley Cyrus has released a new single, 'End of the World' on 4 April. The song is part of her upcoming album 'Something Beautiful', set to drop on 30 May.
The 80s-inspired track, described by Cyrus as part of the album's "immersive, operatic approach," is accompanied by a music video in which she performs on a warmly lit stage, wearing a sequined green mini-dress.
This marks the third release from Something Beautiful, following 'Prelude' and the album's title track. The album will feature 13 songs, each with cinematic visuals shot by acclaimed cinematographer Benoît Debie.
Cyrus co-executive produced the album with Shawn Everett, aiming to craft a "one of a kind pop opera" and "fantasy-fueled visual experience."
'Something Beautiful' follows the success of Cyrus' 2023 album 'Endless Summer Vacation', which reached No 3 on the Billboard 200 and featured 'Flowers,' a chart-topping hit that earned her two Grammy Awards in 2024 — her first wins.
With 'End of the World,' Cyrus continues building anticipation for what promises to be a bold and genre-blending musical era.
