DB arrests man for 'committing violence against women' in Shyamoli

Police have arrested a man for "committing violence against women" in the Shyamoli Square area of the capital.
The man, Md Russell Hossain, 30, was apprehended by Dhaka Metropolitan Police Detective Branch's Cyber Crime Unit from Motijheel area around 6pm today (10 March), reads a press release from DMP.
In videos circulated on social media, Russell can be seen behaving violently towards women in the Shyamoli Square area, the DMP said.

Russell recorded videos of those incidents and shared them on social media, police said in the press release.
Further legal action against him is currently underway, it added.
