BRAC Bank and City Group partner on Finance Solutions

BRAC Bank has partnered with City Group to offer advanced cash management solutions and supply chain financing to optimise Bangladesh's leading corporate conglomerate's working capital and financial operations.

As part of this collaboration, BRAC Bank will deliver customised payment solutions that allow City Group's ERP system to initiate transactions directly through API integration. This eliminates the need for manual processes like the CORPnet Maker module, reducing human error and ensuring secure and real-time data sharing.

City Group will also benefit from real-time account statements integrated with its ERP system, enabling faster decision-making, automatic reconciliation, and improved efficiency in order processing and time to market. Additionally, BRAC Bank will facilitate digital payment via CORPnet for RTGS and BEFTN channels, ensuring seamless reconciliation with City Group's ERP.

BRAC Bank will also provide customised financial solutions to strengthen City Group's supply chain, ensure efficient working capital management, and support suppliers with accessible and cost-effective financing.

With BRAC Bank's extensive network of 189 branches, 74 sub-branches, and 1,114 Agent Banking outlets across Bangladesh, City Group will have greater access to banking services beyond traditional banking hours and on public holidays.

Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Corporate & Institutional Banking; Syed Abdul Momen, Deputy Managing Director and Head of SME Banking, BRAC Bank; and Mohammad Tanvir Hydar Pavel, Director, Finance & Commercial of City Group, signed the agreement at the bank's head office in Dhaka on February 17, 2025, in the presence of Selim R. F. Hussain, Managing Director and CEO of BRAC Bank, and Md. Hasan, Managing Director, City Group.

The collaboration marks another milestone in BRAC Bank's journey to empower its corporate clients with modern, efficient, and technology-driven service
