Three individuals, affiliated with the Awami League and its associate bodies Jubo League and the banned organisation Bangladesh Chhatra League, have been arrested in Cumilla as part of the ongoing Operation Devil Hunt.

The arrestees are Faisal Tanvir Tamim, 17, a member of the banned Chhatra League from Sadar Dakshin Upazila; Jibon Mia, 45, cultural affairs secretary of the Muradnagar Upazila Awami League's 5 No Purbodhoir (West) union unit; and Alauddin Aji, 48, a Jubo League member from Sundalpur Union in Daudkandi Upazila.

Confirming the matter, Cumilla Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration & Finance) Arafatul Islam said Faisal has been sent to the juvenile court, while Jibon Mia faces an existing political case.
