Tesla not interested in manufacturing cars in India, big blow to Modi government

Modi's condition was to invest at least $500 million and start local production within three years. However, Elon Musk decided not to open a Tesla manufacturing plant in India instead of complying with Modi's condition. As a result, India lost out on a big investment.
