KBEC NEXUS 2025 showcases innovation and entrepreneurship at KUET

KBEC successfully hosted NEXUS 2025, a national case competition, on 24 January at the KUET auditorium.

The event brought together students from universities nationwide to compete in tech-business innovation.

With a prize pool of Tk2 lakh, the competition attracted over 200 teams and nearly 1,000 participants nationwide. After two intense rounds, six finalist teams—Team Cartel, Team Tadow, Team Crosscheck, Team Popcorn Pixies, Team Wrong Direction, and Team Level Up—competed in the final round.

The judging panel featured industry experts, including Zaved Parvez, Senior Director of Augmedix; Touhid Ahmed Anik, Cluster Manager at Grameenphone; Shuvo Ahmed, CEO of SR Dream IT; and Omar Farhan Khan, Senior Business Consultant and Project Manager at LightCastle Partners.

Team Tadow won the championship title and received Tk1 lakh in prize money. Team Cartel became the first runner-up, winning Tk60,000, while Team Wrong Direction secured the second runner-up position with Tk40,000.
