NSU MIBC launches MarXcellence 2026 with digital marketing workshop
MarXcellence 2026 launched with a workshop by the Marketing and International Business Club of North South University (NSU MIBC), offering practical insights into digital marketing, branding and strategic business problem-solving.
More than 800 participants from across Bangladesh attended the workshop at the NSU campus on Friday (10 July), while international participants joined via a live Google Meet broadcast, according to a press release inviting participants.
Dhaka Bank PLC presents MarXcellence 2026, with Transcom Group co-sponsoring and Vatika Naturals powering it.
Speakers at the workshop included Rayhan Kawsar, assistant vice president of Dhaka Bank PLC; Mosleh Saad Mahmud, head of Cash Management Unit and executive vice president of Dhaka Bank PLC; and Mohammed Maheer Tazoer, senior brand manager of LUX at Unilever Bangladesh Ltd.
They shared industry insights through interactive discussions with participants.
Afrida Masnoon, faculty advisor of NSU MIBC, also attended the workshop and encouraged participants to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth.
MarXcellence 2026 is being held under the leadership of the NSU MIBC Executive Body 2025–26, comprising President Tanvir Anjum Rakin, General Secretary Isha Bin Mahmud Mahi, Treasurer Srijan Banik, Vice President Lamia Binte Islam, Joint Secretary of Creative and Internal Affairs SM Rafsan Mashrur, Joint Secretary of Publications Syeda Saniha Zarin and Joint Secretary of Logistics Syed Yusuf Tehami Quadry.
The workshop was organised as part of MarXcellence 2026, which the organisers described as Bangladesh's largest international inter-university digital marketing case competition.
Participants were introduced to the competition format, judging criteria, case-solving techniques and strategic approaches to real-world marketing challenges.
The session also allowed participants to interact with the organising team, gain practical insights, and seek clarification on various aspects of the competition, thereby inviting them to learn more about the event.
