Ariful Bari joins Bank Asia as deputy managing director
Md Ariful Bari has joined Bank Asia PLC as deputy managing director and chief credit officer.
He will oversee the bank's credit operations, drawing on his experience in business growth, institutional relationship management and prudent risk management, according to a press release.
Before joining Bank Asia, Bari held senior leadership positions in the Wholesale Banking Division of City Bank PLC.

He began his banking career at HSBC Bangladesh, gaining experience across multiple banking disciplines.
Bari completed his higher studies in economics. He has also attended numerous professional training programmes, workshops and seminars at home and abroad, strengthening his expertise in banking and financial services.
