UCB and DGePay collaborate to drive digital banking forward

United Commercial Bank (UCB) signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with DGePay, a leading payment gateway service provider, to enhance digital payment services nationwide.

The signing ceremony, recently (28 January 2025) held at the UCB Corporate Office, marks an essential step in UCB's mission to strengthen its digital banking infrastructure and provide seamless payment solutions to its customers.
The collaboration will facilitate advanced payment gateway services, enabling smoother and more secure digital transactions for UCB customers. UCB's payment gateway is already processing online ticket purchases for significant events such as the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) and the Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF). Additionally, the integration of UPAY further enhances the platform's versatility and user convenience.

Md graced the event, along with Abdullah Al Mamoon, the Deputy Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer; Zeeshan Kingshuk Huq, the Chief Communication Officer from UCB; Rashed Mahmud, the CEO of Dipon Group; and other officials.
The strategic alliance between UCB and DGePay is expected to set new benchmarks in the digital payment landscape, fostering financial inclusion and empowering customers with cutting-edge banking solutions.
