12 Covid-19 deaths in Armed Forces in a week, 508 new infections

The Armed Forces today reported 12 more deaths, including two army officers, from the novel coronavirus and 508 new cases of infections in last one week.

A total of 6,205 members of Armed Forces both in-service and retired along with their families have been infected with coronavirus till Sunday, said a press release of the Inter Service Public Relations Directorate (ISPR).

So far 78 people in the forces died from the virus and while 4,675 have recovered fully, the press release added.
