Renata’s manufacturing standards win european recognition

Renata PLC has achieved a significant regulatory milestone as its Rajendrapur General Facility has received European Union Good Manufacturing Practice (EU GMP) certification, following a rigorous inspection by European authorities.
This certification marks a significant step forward for Bangladesh's pharmaceutical sector and reinforces Renata's reputation as a regional leader in manufacturing excellence.
Located in Gazipur, the Rajendrapur General Facility houses cutting-edge production lines for oral solid dosage forms, including tablets, capsules, and soft gel capsules. With this diverse capability, the site is well-positioned to cater to both domestic needs and highly regulated export markets.
The EU GMP certification confirms that the facility meets stringent European quality, safety, and compliance standards. It will enable Renata to further expand its footprint in international markets, including the European Economic Area (EEA), where GMP certification is a mandatory prerequisite for pharmaceutical imports.
Renata has consistently invested in modernising its operations, aligning with global best practices to ensure its products meet the highest standards. This latest recognition is a testament to its long-standing commitment to quality, innovation, and patient safety.
