A fire that broke out at the Sena Kalyan Bhaban in Motijheel in the capital was brought under control.

The fire originated at 10:40pm on the 21th floor of the building, fire service officials said.

Five firefighting units from Siddikbazar station reached the spot at 10:51pm and brought the fire under control at 11:47pm.

The affected floor houses the central bank's Inspection Department-4.

Details regarding the damage could not be known immediately.
