Located right behind Primeasia University in Banani, Cocojoy is a small café that has gained popularity among students and busy professionals in the area who need a quick recharge during their hectic schedules.

Its simple setup and straightforward menu make it an accessible spot for anyone seeking a refreshing break in the middle of a busy day.

Despite its size, Cocojoy delivers on flavour, offering a variety of drinks and ice cream. During our visit, we tried three items from three different sections of their menu to get a sense of what they are all about.

Signature Coconut Shake

From the shakes section, the Signature Coconut Shake stood out as the café's best offering. Priced at Tk260, this light, creamy drink is packed with the fresh flavour of coconut. It's perfect for Dhaka's warm climate, especially during summer.

The drink provides a refreshing, energising boost that feels like a mini tropical escape. For its balanced flavour and quality, we highly recommend it as a must-try for anyone visiting Cocojoy.

Price: Tk260

Rating: 9.5/10

Creamy Royal Lemon

From the juice section, we opted for the Creamy Royal Lemon, priced at Tk210. This drink packs a bold, tangy lemon punch, making it an ideal choice for anyone needing a quick recharge.

The strong citrus flavour hits all the right notes, providing a refreshing burst of energy after a long day. While it may not be for everyone due to its intense lemon flavour, it certainly stands out.

Price: Tk210

Rating: 8/10

Rainbow Bread Ice Cream

The Rainbow Bread Ice Cream, priced at Tk150, was a pleasant surprise. This simple dessert combines soft, colourful bread with creamy vanilla ice cream, making it a unique option for anyone craving something sweet. The texture and taste evoke a sense of comfort, and it is definitely worth a try for ice cream lovers.

Price: Tk150

Rating: 8.5/10

Cocojoy may not be the most spacious café in Banani, but it delivers on affordability, flavour, and convenience. Its offerings cater to those looking for quick refreshments without breaking the bank.

If you are in the area and need a quick pick-me-up, stop by Cocojoy for a refreshing drink or dessert. It's a small spot but cosy enough to enjoy a moment of relaxation before getting back to your day.
