Xiaomi has added another product for its upcoming global event on March 29. Xiaomi will launch its next-gen fitness band, Mi Band 6 at this event. Xiaomi is also launching the Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro and Mi Mix smartphones on this day.

Xiaomi announced the launch of Mi Band 6 on Twitter. The 'Xiaomi 2021 New Product Launch' event is scheduled for March 29 at 19:30 pm Beijing time. The launch teaser doesn't reveal anything about the fitness band. Xiaomi's product marketing head shared a video of the Mi Band 6 on Twitter which shows a design similar to the Mi Band 5.

The different colour options of the Mi Band 6 is also highlighted in this video. The fitness band will come in six colour options including black, blue, orange, yellow and green. The different watch faces are also displayed in the video.

Based on leaks and reports, the Mi Band 6 is expected to come with NFC support, a built-in GPS, and an SpO2 monitor. It is also said to feature 19 new exercise modes such as zumba, street dance, stepper, and pilates. The fitness band is also expected to be used for controlling Mi Home smart devices but this feature could be limited to China.

There's also a feature for time management on the Mi Band 6. When turned on, the fitness band will mute notifications for 25 minutes. Other expected features include heart rate monitoring, and sleep monitoring.
