Xiaomi recognised as Bangladesh’s number 1 mobile handset brand

Xiaomi has been awarded the prestigious title of 'Most Loved Brand' in the Mobile Handset category by Bangladesh Brand Forum during the 16th edition of the Best Brand Award 2024.

The award was presented to Ziauddin Chowdhury, Country Manager of Xiaomi Bangladesh, at a grand gala ceremony at InterContinental Dhaka.

This recognition highlights Xiaomi's achievements and its loyal fans' immense love and support. Xiaomi's dedicated and tremendous fanbase remains at the heart of its success, driving the brand to focus on delivering exceptional products and experiences that empower communities and align with their aspirations.

He expressed his gratitude, Mr Ziauddin Chowdhury stated, "This recognition reflects our steadfast dedication to crafting exceptional and forward-thinking products that align with the desires and aspirations of our customers in Bangladesh. We wholeheartedly dedicate this award to our loyal Xiaomi Fans and partners, whose unwavering support has been the cornerstone of our success."

This year, in partnership with nSearch Ltd. and association with The Daily Star, Bangladesh Brand Forum organised this highly coveted platform to celebrate brands that have successfully built strong connections with consumers. The selection process involved an extensive survey conducted across eight divisions of Bangladesh, engaging 10,000 respondents from urban and rural areas. The evaluation criteria included critical factors such as Brand Salience, Preference, Recommendation, and Innovation, ensuring a holistic assessment of brand performance.

Xiaomi's success is built on its strong commitment to providing innovative, high-quality, affordable technology solutions tailored to the Bangladeshi market. In the third quarter of 2024, the Xiaomi Redmi 13C earned a spot among the top 10 best-selling smartphones worldwide, showcasing the brand's global appeal. Speculation is growing that the highly anticipated next-generation Xiaomi Redmi Note series may soon be launched. By consistently prioritising customer needs and delivering value-driven products, Xiaomi has solidified its position as the Most Loved Brand in its category, earning widespread recognition and loyalty.

The Best Brand Award, a flagship initiative of the Bangladesh Brand Forum, has been honouring the nation's most loved and impactful brands for the past 15 years. Recognised for its unwavering commitment to excellence, this award aims to inspire and motivate brands by showcasing success stories driven by outstanding branding strategies and exceptional customer engagement.
