Power Grid declares no dividend for second consecutive year
Power Grid’s loss per share stood at Tk2.3 in FY25, compared to Tk6.69 in the previous year.
Power Grid Bangladesh PLC has announced that it will not pay any dividend for FY25.
This marks the second consecutive year the state-run company has skipped dividends, which will place it in the Z category for the first time under stock exchange rules.
In a price-sensitive statement filed with the Dhaka Stock Exchange, the company said it could not declare a dividend due to mounting losses.
According to the disclosure, Power Grid's loss per share stood at Tk2.3 in FY25, compared to Tk6.69 in the previous year.
The company has now incurred losses for three consecutive years.
