Efforts are underway to recover the body of Mst. Mariam Khatun—wife of G.M. Nazrul Islam, the Member of Parliament for Satkhira-4—from their residence at the NAM Bhaban (housing complex for MPs) in the capital's Sher-e-Bangla Nagar. Police are working to break down the door of the locked room to retrieve the body.
