Around 16 renowned restaurants are offering their signature dishes at the Banani foodpanda Iftar Bazaar, providing food lovers with a diverse selection of iftar meals under one roof.

On Sunday, the online food and grocery delivery platform foodpanda launched the Grand Iftar Bazaar for the third consecutive year. Powered by City Bank American Express, the event will continue until the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

The venue also offers dine-in facilities for customers who prefer to enjoy their meals on-site, reads a press release. Participating restaurants from both Old and New Dhaka include Domino's, Takeout, Dosa Xpress, Jaipur Sweets, Bar-B-Q Tonite, Beauty Lassi, Chicken Buzz, Decent Pastry Shop, Mostakim Kabab, Rater Kabab, Tajine-Nawabi Cuisine, Tarka, Tri-State Eatery, Iftarwala, Waffle Time, and Mithaiwala.

Customers near Banani can order for delivery or pick-up through the foodpanda app, choosing from a range of traditional Ramadan favourites such as halim, nihari, falooda, and ghee-soaked jilapi, available from 2:00pm onwards. Exciting discounts and combo offers are available throughout the event. For those without the app, dedicated volunteers at the venue will assist with installation and order placement.

Shafiqul Alam commented, "We want Bangladeshi technology-based startups to grow, and Bangladesh is now a suitable place for such ventures. Our Interim Government is working to support technology-based startups, and in the coming months, we will see new initiatives benefiting the people of our country."

He added, "Foodpanda is making a significant contribution to the country's digital economy by fostering entrepreneurship, creating job opportunities for young people, and attracting foreign investment. The company is also committed to promoting local culture and traditions. The Grand Iftar Bazaar showcases how technology and tradition can come together to create a meaningful impact."

Zubair BA Siddiky, said, "At foodpanda, we make every meal special and every festivity memorable. This year, the Grand Iftar Bazaar offers a seamless Ramadan experience, bringing the best of Old and New Dhaka under one roof. Customers can pick up their favourite delicacies or enjoy a dine-in experience, celebrating the rich flavours and spirit of Ramadan together."

Ambareen Reza, added, "Ramadan is a time for reflection, community, and togetherness. At foodpanda, we are proud to contribute to these values by bringing together some of Dhaka's best food outlets for the Grand Iftar Bazaar. This initiative helps us connect people, celebrate tradition, and support local businesses, all while embracing the spirit of Ramadan through innovation and convenience."

The Grand Iftar Bazaar is supported by Lifebuoy as the handwashing partner, 7UP as the refreshment partner, and Polar as the ice cream partner.
