United Commercial Bank holds 506th board meeting
Sharif Zahir, the Chairman of United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB), presided over the 506th Meeting of the Board of Directors on February 11, 2025, at the Bank's Corporate Office.
Among others, the Vice-Chairman of the Board, Md Shazzad Hossoin; Executive Committee Chairman of the Board, Md Tanvir Khan; Audit Committee Chairman of the Board, Obaidur Rahman FCA; Risk Management Committee of the Board, Md Yusuf Ali; Managing Director and CEO Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid, and other senior officials attended the meeting.
The Board of UCB praised the effective monetary policy announced by Bangladesh Bank. Moreover, emphasis was placed on the smooth practice of banking rules and regulations and excellent customer service in the face of the burning issue of recent irregularities and corruption in the banking arena.
