ULAB Fair Play Cup 2025 kicks off

The inaugural ceremony of the 15th ULAB Fair Play Cup T20 cricket tournament took place at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) on 16 April 2025, marking the beginning of an exciting and competitive tournament. The event brought together ten of the country's top private universities in a spirited celebration of youth, teamwork, and the spirit of fair play.

Participating teams include Bangladesh University of Business and Technology, BRAC University, Dhaka International University, Independent University Bangladesh, International University of Business Agriculture and Technology, International Standard University, North South University, United International University, Uttara University, and University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh. The tournament is scheduled to run from 16 April to 2 May 2025.

The opening ceremony was graced by ULAB's Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor Jude William Genilo, Registrar Lt. Col. Md. Foyzul Islam (Retd.), Muhammad Taufiq Aziz, Senior Manager, External Affairs, and other senior officials, faculty, staff, and student supporters, all of whom made the event a memorable occasion.

The opening match featured ULAB against Uttara University, with ULAB emerging victorious in a decisive 129-run win. The team's stellar performance set the tone for the tournament, which promises to showcase exceptional talent and sportsmanship from all participating universities.

The 15th ULAB Fair Play Cup 2025 stands as a testament to the university's commitment to fostering a spirit of healthy competition, camaraderie, and leadership through sports. As the tournament progresses, teams are expected to display their best skills, creating an exciting atmosphere for students and supporters alike.
