Team Nexus, Aurora win IUBAT’s ‘EconPitch 2026’
At "EconPitch 2026," a five-minute presentation competition at the International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT), Team Nexus won Category A and Team Aurora won Category B.
According to a press release, the IUBAT Economics Research Society organised the competition in the university's conference room on 25 August, following an invitation.
Students from the Department of Economics competed in Category A, while students from other departments participated in Category B.
Participants presented ideas on a range of economic issues, including inflation, the green economy, the digital economy, health economics and agricultural economics.
After the presentations were evaluated, Team Nexus won Category A, and Team Aurora won Category B. All participants received certificates recognising their efforts and presentations.
IUBAT Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Abdur Rab, Department of Economics Chairman Professor Dr Golam Rasul, and Miyan Research Institute Director Professor Dr Sajal Saha attended the event.
Faculty members from the Department of Economics were also present and shared observations with the participants.
The competition allowed students to demonstrate their economic knowledge, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills. It also encouraged them to examine contemporary economic challenges and propose practical solutions.
