Syngenta launches she shines to empower rural women

Syngenta Bangladesh proudly unveils "SheShines", a new initiative under its Sustainability Programme dedicated to empowering rural women by enhancing their capacity building, financial independence, and role in the agricultural value chain.
The launch event was inaugurated by Hedayet Ullah, Managing Director of Syngenta Bangladesh, with the gracious presence of Ms Zinat Ara, Director General (Additional Secretary), Department of Jute, Ministry of Textile and Jute, and rural women.
SheShine is more than just a project—it's a platform to crystalise the potential of rural women in Bangladesh. Focusing on skill development aligns with Cottage, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, capacity building, and access to finance and information. We're paving the way for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and economic independence.
Women are at the heart of rural economies, yet they often lack access to resources and opportunities. Through SheShines, Syngenta aims to bridge this gap by equipping rural women with the knowledge, tools, and financial access needed to thrive. This initiative is a testament to Syngenta's long-term commitment to gender equality and sustainable rural development.
