Stamford University business forum holds seminar on digital-era leadership

The Stamford Business Forum (SBF) at Stamford University Bangladesh organised a seminar titled 'Future Leaders in Focus: Business Communication and Personal Branding in the Digital Era' on 14 August 2025 at the university auditorium.
The event brought together distinguished speakers, faculty members, and students for an afternoon of engaging discussions and insights on leadership and personal branding in today's competitive digital landscape.
Keynote addresses were delivered by Dr Shariful Islam Dulu and Ms Sadia Afrin Hema, who shared strategies on effective communication, leadership development, and building a strong personal brand.
The programme was attended by Professor Dr Jamal U Ahmed, Dean of the university, along with faculty members, discipline heads, and programme coordinators. Special recognition was given to the SBF 5th Executive Committee for its dedication, the event sponsor Grameen Danone (Shokti+) for its support, and alumnus Mr Benjir Abrar for his participation — reflecting the enduring ties between alumni and the institution.
In his closing remarks, Assistant Professor Mohammad Ahsan Kabir Rubel, Convener of SBF, recapped the forum's journey since its establishment in 2019 as a platform for leadership development and industry engagement. He noted that new executive committees have been introduced almost every year, except during the pandemic. He further announced that, following this seminar, SBF plans to hold another academic programme after the upcoming midterm examinations. Additionally, he mentioned that a special winter outing for members is being scheduled for later in the academic year, with further details to be communicated closer to the dates.
Since its inception, SBF has sought to cultivate leaders who communicate effectively, connect meaningfully, and create a lasting impact.
