Inflationary pressure intensified again in Bangladesh in April, pushing overall inflation above 9%, up from 8.71% in March. Both food and non-food inflation rose in April, with food inflation increasing to 8.39% from 8.24%, while non-food inflation climbed sharply to 9.57% from 9.09% – highest in a year.
