Special prayer held at Baitul Mukarram for the martyrs of the July

A special prayer and munajat was held today after Zuhr prayers at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque seeking divine mercy for the souls of those who were martyred during the historic July mass uprising, and for the recovery of the injured.

The prayer was led by Mufti Md Mizanur Rahman, Senior Imam of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque. Present at the event were Abdus Salam Khan, Director General of the Islamic Foundation (Senior District and Sessions Judge); Dr Mohammad Harunur Rashid, Director of the Da'wah and Islamic Culture Department; and officials and staff of the Islamic Foundation.

It is worth noting that the Islamic Foundation had issued a special appeal yesterday requesting all mosque khatibs, imams, mosque committees, and relevant authorities across the country to organise similar prayers and munajats in memory of the martyrs of the July uprising and for the well-being of those injured.
