Sonali Life holds training programme in Jashore for Khulna Division
Sonali Life Insurance Company Limited held a day-long 'Career Guide Special Training' at Jashore Shilpakala Academy to strengthen workforce capability and drive business growth.
Branch managers from the Khulna division attended, focusing on professional skills, career planning, and field-level efficiency.
Director Mostafa Kamrus Sobhan attended as chief guest. Director Sheikh Mohammad Daniel served as chief speaker, while Acting Chief Executive Officer Rafiqul Islam delivered the keynote address, outlining the company's strategic priorities and growth direction.

Attendees included Mohammad Golam Mostafa (DMD), Anupam Das and Emdadul Haque Sahil (AMDs), and Md Obaidur Rahman Mondol (AGM).
Participants also included branch managers, unit managers, and financial associates from Khulna.
The programme, starting at 9am, was led by Emdadul Haque Sahil (AMD), who facilitated sessions on career development, performance, and leadership.
The company reports that Sonali Life Insurance currently serves more than 62,000 policyholders through 15 branch offices in Khulna division.
As of March 2026, the division recorded approximately Tk12 crore in combined first-year and renewal premiums, while total premium income in 2025 exceeded Tk45 crore. During the same period, claim settlements reached nearly Tk5 crore, compared with more than Tk15 crore disbursed in 2025.
The division employs 7,099 field personnel, including 257 professionals it newly recruited as of March 2026, to ensure continuous customer service delivery.
At the national level, the company stated it has maintained consistency in claim settlements, disbursing more than Tk45 crore in 2023, Tk150 crore in 2024, and Tk432 crore in 2025. As of March 2026, nearly Tk100 crore had already been settled in insurance claims.
Company officials expressed confidence that such initiatives will further strengthen human resource capability and sustain the company's growth momentum in the years ahead. They encouraged all participants to apply the skills and strategies gained during the training to drive continuous improvement and contribute actively to Sonali Life Insurance's future success.
