Sonali Life holds 12th annual general meeting
Sonali Life Insurance Company Limited held its 12th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday, at the company's conference room in the city.
The AGM was presided over by Chairman of the Board of Directors, Moinul Islam, in the presence of Observer, Maksura Akter Banu, Joint Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division, Ministry of Finance.
Directors Zafar Iqbal NDC, Fazlutunnesa, Mostafa Quamrus Sobhan, Fauzia Quamrun Tania, and Sheikh Mohammad Danial were present, along with Observer, Shah Alam; Additional Managing Director and CEO, Md Rafiqul Islam; Chief Financial Officer, Mohammad Abdul Hannan; Chief Operating Officer, Md Monzur Morshed; HIAC, Md Ali Reza; Chief Information Officer, Hasib Reza; other senior officials of the company; and a significant number of shareholders.

The proceedings of the meeting were conducted by Company Secretary, Md Abdur Rob.
During the AGM, shareholders discussed and unanimously approved the audited financial statements of the company for the year ended 31 December 2024, along with the directors' and auditors' reports. The meeting also approved a 15 per cent cash dividend for the financial year 2024, and appointed statutory auditors and compliance auditors for 2025.
In his address, Moinul Islam expressed gratitude to shareholders for their continued trust and support, reaffirming the company's commitment to sustainable growth, sound financial management, regulatory compliance, and high standards of corporate governance.
