NRBC Bank opens Shariakandi sub-branch in Bogra

NRBC Bank PLC has started banking operations at Shariakandi, Bogra. On 1 December 2024, AKM Mostafizur Rahman, director and chairman of the NRBC Bank Risk Management Committee, inaugurated the sub-branch as the chief guest.
Faria Mostafiz Ornsisha, director of NRB Islamic Life Insurance, Abu Taiyeb Mohammad Zahurul Islam Badsha, president, and Mamunur Rashid, general secretary of Shariakandi Merchant Association, attended the event alongside Rajshahi Zonal Head Ashim Kumar Das, Recovery Head of Rajshahi and Rangpur Zone Md Nurul Habib, Bogra Area Head Hiamadri Shakhor Dubey, and Shariakandi sub-branch in-charge Rajendra Kumar Sen. Distinguished clients, local businessmen, and other bank officials were also present.
The inauguration ceremony included a Munajat seeking divine blessings for the bank's welfare and prosperity.
Addressing the event, AKM Mostafizur Rahman highlighted NRBC Bank's commitment to increasing the financial capacity of people in remote areas. He noted that the bank's network expansion aims to bring banking services to every individual in the region. Through its collateral-free microcredit programme, the bank has already created thousands of entrepreneurs in North Bengal, leading to employment generation and improved living standards.
