Apex presents 5th NDC national math festival powered by NRBC Bank

The Notre Dame Math Club successfully hosted the "Apex Presents 5th NDC National Math Festival powered by NRBC Bank" on February 14-15, 2025, at Notre Dame College, Dhaka. 
The two-day event united bright young mathematical minds nationwide, fostering collaboration, creativity, and competition. With a record-breaking turnout, the festival was an exhilarating and inspiring experience for all participants.
 This year's festival witnessed remarkable participation, with students representing various institutions across Bangladesh. Over 120 campus ambassadors played a crucial role in promoting the event, while collaborations with 35+ student clubs from different institutions contributed to the festival's diverse representation. The event saw enthusiastic involvement from students, faculty members, and dignitaries, including Notre Dame College's principal, vice-principal and Professor, Dr M Shamsher Ali, who graced the occasion with their presence.

The festival featured 24 exciting segments, including 16 solo events, three team-based competitions, two online submission activities, and three unique segments.
Among the most anticipated events were team-based competitions such as Project Display, Wall Magazine, and Scrapbook, which encouraged students to explore mathematical concepts through teamwork and creativity. The online submission-based competitions, including Math Article Writing and the Math Meme Contest, saw impressive creative and thought-provoking entries. 
As always, the main events were the Math Olympiad (Find) and Math Olympiad (Proof), which attracted the highest number of math aficionados competing for glory. On the other hand, the Treasure Hunt was the signature event of this two-day festival, with 64 teams competing for a prize pool of ten thousand taka.

 The event concluded with an exciting awards ceremony on 15 February, where winners across various segments were honoured with crests, magazines, and certificates. Every participant received a participation certificate, lunch and exclusive gifts, ensuring that all attendees were left with cherished memories. The recognition and accolades served as a motivating factor for students, inspiring them to further their mathematical pursuits.
 Notre Dame Math Club's dedicated organizing team and volunteers efficiently managed the festival. They worked tirelessly to ensure a smooth and well-coordinated experience for all. Their commitment and enthusiasm played a vital role in the seamless execution of the event. The presence of distinguished guests added prestige to the festival, further highlighting its significance in the mathematical community.

The event provided a competitive platform for students and encouraged creative problem-solving, teamwork and intellectual curiosity.
With its growing popularity and impact, the National Math Festival continues to establish itself as a landmark event in the country's academic calendar. The 5th edition left a lasting impression on participants, and its success sets the stage for even greater editions in the future.
