New Barishal Range DIG calls for people-friendly policing
Md Mostafizur Rahman has assumed office as the new Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Barishal Range on Saturday afternoon.
Senior officials of the range police welcomed him with a floral arrangement and a formal reception at the Barishal Range office upon his arrival.
Following the assumption of office, he held a meeting with officials and provided directives to ensure community-oriented policing.

Those present at the event included Barishal RRF Commandant (Additional DIG) Md Abdus Salam Rimon, Additional DIG (Crime and Operations), Additional DIG (Administration and Finance), district superintendents of police, and the assistant superintendent of police at the range office.
Senior officials from Barishal Range and various police units also attended the programme.
